To date, four jurisdictions have been designated as Prosecutor-Led Mentor Diversion Sites.  More sites may be designated over this life of this grant program. These prosecutor’s offices are highly experienced in developing and operating a broad range of prosecutor-led diversion programming and have extensive experience as partners in court-led diversion programs and problem solving courts. They are also experienced at using diversion programming to encourage treatment and reduce reliance on incarceration.

A mentor site may be called upon to host a training and technical assistance site visit, join a site visit team, make a presentation at a conference, or offer assistance through conference calls, correspondence, and email.  Mentor sites must also be committed to developing a community of practice around prosecutor-led diversion principles.
